Plug-in hybrids (PHEV) have been making their name known throughout the automotive industry because these vehicles offer the best of two worlds: gasoline and electric driving. The all-new 2018 Kia Niro Plug-in Hybrid is easily making its way to the top of the list as well. Already designed from Kia's unique hybrid crossover, the Kia Niro, this plug-in hybrid is ready to show off its efficiency and top-notch performance.

Thanks to its advanced Parallel Hybrid System, dual-clutch automatic transmission and regenerative braking, the Niro PHEV is able to achieve a total driving distance of 560-miles. It also features a generous 26-mile all-electric range and an EPA-estimated 48 MPG in the city and 44 MPG on the highway. Combining this efficiency, this crossover offers a combined 105 MPGe rating. And to add more convenience for drivers, the lithium-ion polymer battery can receive a full charge in less than 3-hours when using a 240-volt charger, which are located at public stations and can be installed at your home. Or you can use a standard wall outlet at your home, about 120-volt, for overnight charging.
